How to Elope In Michigan 

Let us first discuss what elope means in today's wedding world. Elope means to have a wedding that is shorter in length and smaller in guest count and usually not booked years or months in advance. 

My experience with couples who want to elope is that it's the two of them and around 15 ish guests and is booked within a month or two or as little as a day or two in advance. 

Eloping in Michigan is easy: 

1. Pick your spot to have the ceremony 
2. Hire an Officiant - that's us! 
3. Apply for and obtain your marriage license 
4. Invite your people
5. Maybe hire a photographer 

When it comes to choosing a spot to host your Michigan elopement it can be as easy as a local park or restaurant or even your own home! Keep it simple and cost effective. 

We have 2 wedding packages that make eloping a breeze! 

Signing - $135 - we'll meet with the two of you and your two witnesses at a local coffee shop, bakery or restaurant or even a park to simply sign your license and offer a very brief prewritten exchange of vows and sign your license. 

Elopement $275 - we can assist you in finding the perfect location for your elopement cermeony and draft a custom ceremony script. We will perform the ceremony and sign your license.
