Sign and go wedding

I just want to sign and go! - Getting married the easy way

Yes, you can just sign and go - getting legally married does not have to be anything you don't want it to be.

Let's talk about our simple signing package. At A Simple I Do, the team and I believe that your wedding day can look like anything you wish and sometimes that means you just want to sign your marriage license and go!

What is the requirement for getting legally married in Michigan, good question, let me start at the beginning.

First step - apply for and get your marriage license from your specific clerks' office, using the county that you live in, unless you live outside of Michigan then you will apply in the county that you are getting married in. License in hand you now have 30 days before it expires to sign it and make your marriage legal.

Second step to getting legally married is to hire a professional Officiant to meet with you. This person is responsible for signing your marriage license, directing all participants where to sign the marriage license and then performing a simple exchange of vows so you may declare you came of your own free will to marry each other.

Last step is for your officiant to file the marriage license with the county clerk and then for you to request for certified legal copy of the marriage license - you need this if you are changing your name, adding to insurance or any legal proceedings, this is the copy of the marriage license they want to see.

You see, getting legally married does not have to be anything you don't want it to be. You can simply sign and go.

We serve most of southeast Michigan and even offer a Wednesday special discount are of $85

Here's what that can look like for you. (pictures thanks to Shelby of www.monnette.co
