A Simple I Do Wedding Officiants celebrated the love on New Years day at our Pontiac Studio in the historic Riker Building. When two people share a love story so strong that you can actually physically see the love...that's pure magic! 

With these two I kept noticing the way they looked at each other, it was so adoring and unconditional, all love. I felt honored to share in their wedding day.

Our intimate weddings at the Riker Building are a sweet and beautiful way to host a wedding for your closest people and not have to stress about all the details. 

You're welcomed into the studio to take a few portraits with your photographer and then we can hide one spouse while the other welcomes your guests in and we get them seated. Next up is the wedding ceremony, and of course you can walk down the aisle to your favorite song! Nichole will perform the wedding ceremony in such a way as to draw in your guests all while getting the heck out of the way and leaving space for your love (and pictures without her in the background). 

You'll walk back down the aisle married and then sign your marriage license and lastly is taking all those amazing photos with your loved ones. 

Once done at the studio you can move on to a celebratory lunch brunch or dinner or keep it simple and wish everyone well and do your very own thing.

At  A Simple I Do Wedding Officiants we look at intimate ceremonies as a way to truly highlight your love story. When you have an intimate wedding inviting your most important and special people you allow yourselves to truly melt into the time and space that is your wedding ceremony. Looking out to your guests at your intimate ceremony takes on a new look when each face you see is one you personally know and love. 

The Riker building studio is a beautiful white walled space that allows you to host your intimate ceremony in a warm and inviting space. The studio can host up to 20 guests. At the studio we book ceremonies on the half hour and rent the space for a hour and 15 minute window. Here is the timeline we follow: Using 12:30 as an example ceremony start time: 

12:15 doors open to couple and photographer for a first look or couple portraits 
12:30 guests enter and are seated and ceremony begins 
12:45 sign license and hugs to guests 
12:55 to 1:15 group photos 
1:15 guests exit studio and couple has last 15 minutes for just the two of them for intimate photos in studio. 
1:30 couple and photographer exit studio 

We suggest talking to your professional photographer about their desired timeline, pricing and offerings. You can do an extended photo shoot using the roof, lobby and outdoors to take additional photos.

When you rent the studio in the historic Riker Building you have a hour and 15 minute window to perform the ceremony, sign the license and take photos. I know this may sound like too little amount of time, but let me tell you, all of this! See these photos - all of these are possible, we make magic happen with your time with us. 

A simple I do wedding officiants owner Nichole Bertucci rents a studio in the historic Riker building for intimate weddings. The studio space is actually a photography studio that is rented to many photographers, so the light is stunning! The studio space is one large white washed room that allows for a clean look and feel. 

When you host your intimate wedding at the studio you can bring with you 20 of your closest friends and family, the eclectic seating arrangement is provided for you, simply show up and get married. Once on site, you are welcomed into the studio space, as guests arrived they are seated and then when ready we begin the ceremony. This studio space allows for one spouse to be hidden and make an entrance down the aisle, so don't forget to bring your speaker and pick your favorite song to walk to.

Located in downtown Pontiac in the historic Riker Building is the beautiful studio where we host intimate wedding ceremonies. The size can be anywhere from the two of you and two witnesses unto 20 guests. The large windows and white walls allow of the best lighting on your wedding day. All of this for an uber affordable rate. 

Now let's talk about this magical couple who was captured by the photographer Brian Masserman. 

We gathered in the studio and when guests were seated we began with Valerie walking down the aisle with the couple's two sons, when at the end they had a smooshed group hug and we began the ceremony. 

There surrounded by their closest loved ones they exchanged wedding rings and vows and sealed their love with a kiss. 

We signed their marriage license and then turned them over to the photographer to capture group shots and then they went outdoors to get some very cool photos. 

​It was a beautiful day and I wish the happy couple so much love !!
