Welcome to A Simple I Do. We specialize in small weddings, intimate ceremonies, elopements, and our popular Sign & Go service throughout Holly, Fenton, Clarkston, and Waterford. Whether you want a simple license signing, a short and meaningful ceremony, or a personalized intimate wedding, we bring the experience to the location you choose.

I’m Nichole, the owner and lead officiant, and I’ve been officiating weddings since 2007. What began as a favor for my sister quickly became my calling—helping couples celebrate their love in a way that feels effortless, authentic, and true to them. I believe every couple deserves a ceremony that fits who they are, whether that’s heartfelt and personal or quick and simple.

A Simple and Loving Sign and Go Ceremony in Norther Oakland County

Sign and Go Wedding in Michigan $225

Sign & Go: Quick legal signing, no ceremony

Our sign and go marriage license signing is the easiest way to make your marriage legal without a ceremony. We will meet with the two of you, your two witnesses (over 18 years old) and lead you through signing the marriage license. Once signed we'll pronounce you as married and off you go!

What you need:

• Marriage License and 2 witnesses over 18 years old 
• When: 
  • Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm in Clarkston and Bloomfield -outside this time will incur an extra fee  
  • Saturday when available 9am to 12pm in Holly, Clarkston and Bloomfield

Sign & I Do: Short ceremony with vows & ring
*does not include a venue or location*

The Sign & I Do Package is a simple, meaningful alternative to a courthouse wedding. We provide a short, pre-written ceremony that includes vows and rings—nothing to plan or write. After the ceremony, we sign your marriage license.
Please note: No location is included. You must provide your own location. We recommend renting a room at Fenton Community Center or The Lakeside room at Baycourt Park but are open to discuss your selection. Guests gather for a short, sweet ceremony. Any attire is welcome. ​Best for 12 or fewer guests.

Add on: $200 one hour rental of studio in Pontiac -only available Saturday's at 11am according to our availability 

Full Ceremony starting at $550

You've booked the venue, photographer and need the best officiant in southeast Michigan to make sure your ceremony is ran to perfection. That's us, we not only write a beautiful ceremony based on your needs but we coordinate the ceremony to assure it goes stunningly perfect, leaving your guests ready to celebrate your love. 
What do we do: write a custom ceremony, plan the processional and all things in between, guide you through applying for and obtaining your marriage license and of course filing it after your ceremony.

​I have always believed that a wedding ceremony can and should be affordable. The cost of getting married should not cause you to go into debt and thus my business model was born. As a highly sought after wedding officiant, I perform nearly 300 ceremonies every year I can assure you each ceremony no matter the simplicity is performed with love and care. Each meeting I have with a couple holds space in my memory and heart. I became a wedding officiant so that you can be celebrated and loved. Your wedding ceremony can be both affordable, magical and filled with all the warmth, kindness and love you can imagine.
