I'm Nichole Bertucci, the owner and officiant behind A Simple I Do. For more than 17 years, I've had the privilege of marrying thousands of couples across Michigan—from simple license signings and intimate backyard ceremonies to elegant wedding celebrations surrounded by family and friends.

No two couples are alike, and I believe your ceremony shouldn't be either.

Whether you're planning months in advance or deciding to get married this week, my goal is always the same: to create a ceremony that feels genuine, relaxed, and unmistakably yours.

How It All Started

What began as an opportunity to help a couple in love turned into a calling I never expected.

From my very first ceremony, I realized something important. Couples weren't looking for someone to simply read words from a page—they wanted someone who could calm their nerves, celebrate their story, and create a moment they would remember long after the wedding day.

That's exactly what I've dedicated my career to doing.

Over the years I've had the honor of officiating weddings in parks, backyards, wedding venues, private homes, restaurants, breweries, chapels, and just about every beautiful corner of Michigan. Every ceremony reminds me that love doesn't have to fit into one specific style. Your wedding should reflect who you are.
