2.22.22 was a magical day full of weddings. When I started receiving so many inquiries from couples to tie the knot on February 22, 2022 I knew I had to make a plan. I set up shop at my local bakery, Cupcakes and Kisses in downtown Holly. I bought a ton of cupcakes so each couple would have a sweet treat and I was ready for a day of wedding ceremonies and love. 

I made a little post online about my wedding marathon day and the most beautiful soul Shelby of Monette Co. Photography messaged me to ask if she could pop in and take photos...for free! You see she wanted some of that 2.22.22 magic and who am I to deny anyone!? Have I told you how talented Shelby is? Take a look at her work HERE 

The day was so good! Each couple joined Shelby and I at Cupcakes and Kisses, we signed their license and then did a quick simple "I do" and off they went with Shelby to snap some photos. And this went on, serving one couple every half hour until we reached the end of serving our couples together and then off I went to do a few offsite weddings. 

It was a true dream to be of service to so many couples on February 22, 2022 and of course every other day of the year. 

Think elopement but less - that's right, the ultimate small wedding is simple and stress free. Meet me at the coffee shop and we will sign your marriage license and right there at the table I recite a simple vow for you and you say "I do" and then....I PRONOUNCE YOU MARRIED! I'll take care of filing your marriage license and provide instructions for how to change your name and apply for your marriage license. The only thing you need to do for this super simple wedding is to apply for your marriage license at your local county clerk's office and then round up two folks over 18 to come with you as your witnesses. 

There are many reasons couples choose a coffee shop signing or elopement. Currently in 2022 it would seem that couples still are apprehensive about holding a large wedding and waiting things out a bit, But there is no delay in making that married life legal, sign today, get married and then host the perfect reception celebration for your marriage anytime! 

Another reason may be cost, weddings can be very expensive and if you take that $20.000 savings and put it as a down payment on a home or a vacation or even just keep it in the bank you could be way ahead instead of in wedding debt. 

Personally I don't ask the reason, it's your business and I'm simply happy to assist in making your day perfect for you, whichever wedding way works best for you.

I usually don't work on valentines day, but here's the thing, my husband won't be home so all bet's are off!! I'm opening the day for my coffee shop signings, the simplest and least expensive way to make your marriage legal. I'm available from 8am to 2pm and again from 4pm to 8pm. 

Imagine one of the most love filled dates, valentines day could be your wedding anniversary, celebrate your marriage on valentines day every year. 

 A signing is where I meet you at a little bakery or coffee shop in downtown Holly, I complete your marriage license and direct the two of you where to sign and your witnesses where to sign. Lastly, right there at the table I ask "do you promise to continue to love each other, to be honest and faithful all your days together? You say "we do" and I pronounce you MARRIED!
